Quantum of Solace is money in the bank!
Jeff Blake, the chairman of Sony Pictures Worldwide Marketing and Distribution announced that as of today, Quantum of Solace has earned $167.1 Million, and has now surpassed Casino Royale to become the most successful James Bond film of all time in North America. Quantum of Solace is still playing on 891 theaters in the United States.
Quantum of Solace has grossed $382.9 Million internationally, and that is without Japan even showing the film yet. As of today, the film has taken in a worldwide gross of $550 million.
Jeff Blake had the following to say, regarding the film's success:
"It is always gratifying when the audience responds to a film, but to be working with a character as successful as James Bond and see the two films Sony has handled become the two most successful films in the history of the franchise makes us all tremendously proud. It has been a special thrill to work on the Bond films, and we couldn't be more excited by the success of Quantum of Solace."

Glad to hear that Bond is doing so well. Daniel Craig and this re-imagination of the Bond films have been GREAT. I do think Casino Royale was the better film of the two though.
But I'm not suprised that QoS surpassed it with it being Craig's second film after a lot of people were uncertain going into CR.
Plus in a situation like this the second film of a trilogy/series usually does better then the first did at the box office when the first was a success.
Can't wait for Bond 23!
